I love you as an owner, think you've done a good job as an owner. BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CHANGE THE GOD DAMN GRASS AT RELIANT. Andre gets hurt twice on freak accidents, cushing, and now our freaking punter. WAKE UP.

I was about to start a thread stating the same thing. Fix the damn field.

How the hell does a punter jogging down the field blow out his ACL? We lost AJ, and almost lost Cush today as well.

The title sucks but I'm starting to agree about the field, tearing the astrodome down, stepping on crack....anything to just make the injuries stop.

I wonder what what the cost difference is between natural grass and FieldTurf?

I don't think anyone can defend the quality of the field now. The Reliant grass went from Frank Bush status to David Gibbs status.

Hartmann is one thing but AJ had nothing to do with the field. Guy just came up lame.

Unfortunately, AJ can be considered injury prone. This time, it was his other hamstring.

I've always complained about this. I guess it will never get fixed so how about embracing it like the patriots in the early 2000s. Just don't cut it and add extra water to make it the worst playing conditions for the other team.

Problem with the grass being on skids is that they can't form deep roots. They give away and separate on hard cuts. There is no actual ground for the roots to anchor to.

Wasn't there a high school game played on the field Saturday night? Maybe they just need to stop having games being played on the field so soon to the Texans because they don't have a chance to get the grass repaired before the Texans play?

    THIS.

Now that Texans home games actually mean something in December, they should never/ever/ever allow any other teams to play on that field so close to a home game.

    Unfortunately it's not McNair's call....or the Texans.

The field, and its condition, is most certainly "their call".

And if Reliant wants to host high school football games then they better invest in field-turf.
