Both parties showed visible injuries but the male was determined to be the primary aggressor. What a surprise. I wonder if they even did an investigation. If Barnes is innocent, I feel pretty bad for him. There's no winning in that situation for the man. I wonder how many more Steve McNairs we will have to see before people begin to understand that sometimes the woman is the violent one. If Barnes is actually guilty though, they should throw the book at him. Not that they will. Even if he's convicted of something, he'll probably just get a slap on the wrist from the law and league.
Well if both of them had visible injuries I can't see how Barnes can't be guilty. Even if his GF/wife/whatever had been the aggressor, Barnes is a 6+ ft guy who's in the best physical condition of his life. Unless the chick had a knife or something I seriously doubt the girl would be able to inflict major physical harm. She probably pulled on his hair and he launched a haymaker at her or something.
