Would you rather make a layup for $20,000 or a half court shot for $5 MILLION

I think I can hit a half court shot more than 0.4% of the time so the half court shot. $20,000 is a lot of money but wouldn't really change my day to day life much. $5,000,000 is a life changer.

Layup... 98% chance I make it.

Half court shot.. Less than 5% (1 out of 20)

    Right now - layup,

Five years from now - GIMME THE HALF COURT SHOT!

Haha, I would be a man and take the halfcourt shot...

Layup would be tempting, but a halfcourt shot to NEVER work another day is just tooooooo much to pass up. Hawaii baby...

I would say I would have about a 10-20% chance to make it.

Yeah, assuming you are meaning attempt, I would say layup. Small chance I hit the $5 million shot, but just about a guarantee I walk away $20,000 richer.

    Half court shot

I think it would devastate me if I missed the layup.

I think under all that pressure for the $20,000 I would probably miss the layup. I would never forgive myself.

Have to go with the sure thing. Nobody misses uncontested layups.

That's like asking if you'd buy $20,000 worth of lottery tickets. I'd take the layup.

I'd totally let "Dandy" Don Meredith take that shot for me.

Is that DD at the 19 sec. mark?

On the subject of missing easy shots.
