I can't believe i got blown out so bad, I think Dfb has a great team and its def a tough matchup but oh well. I realized going horford at the 5 was gonna make me perceive to be a weak rebounding team even though I have good rebounding wings and a long ball philosophy around horford where long rebounds going to wing players. Also I think people are underselling Marvin, but maybe I'm just really high on him

Donatas. I believe Jordan and Drummond will cancel each other out. Slight edge to Drummond but he seems to disappear in playoffs while Jordan peaks. Outside of that matchup the front court is too strong for LCA to handle. Frye isnt the defensive player he used to be and Monroe is a minus defender. I think Barnes is highly over rated and would be exposed against LeBron in a series. Barnes was picked a little high for my liking and although he provides spacing, Frye is not a starter in this league. We all know the Drummond/Monroe experiment failed. LCA would have to try to win with his backcourt much like Portland did in this patchup. KCP is a very good defensive wing. If he could marginalize Oladipo, it woudl be up to Lillard to carry the team. I like the chances of Lebron and Millsap dominating over Lillard the guards getting hot in a 7 game series. Tizzle. Von Rafer has a very high IQ passing team. The problem is, there are no consistent off-ball shooters outside JR. (Hah) and Crowder if he gets hot. Irving could potentially play off ball but he is just used wrong in that instance and a big liability on defense. The two point guards could run I guess, but they have a very slow front court. Not a good fit. I dont think Myles Turner has near the experience to go against Draymond and Sullinger is a bad matchup. Valenciunas and Adams are enough to make it difficult for Marc. All of that aside, I just have trouble seeing how Von Rafer's team would get efficient shots. Many times in a game there would be only 1 - 3 shooters max and thats including Irving who would be manning the point. That is a lot of pressure to put on Crowder specifically and Myles Turner although a good shot blocker, is not a starting power forward in this league. Oelman I know this might be controversial. First off, I think if anyone can replicate the physicality that is Russel Westbrook on both ends, its Bledsoe. Curry would have to work on both sides of the ball. I could see Oelman going with Bradley at the 2, Leonard at the 4 and starting Biyombo. That is a very good defensive unit and Leonard would abuse Dirk on the other end. This team is just too altheltic for an aging frontcourt to handle. Between Kanter, Biyombo and Thompson that is a lot of size to nullify any glimpse of a vintage Dwight showing. The Thing's team would be predicated on pick and roll with shooters and while it is built very well, I just think he runs into a very good defensive and athletic team who can exploit his weaknesses. Ceasar Ceasar has way too much size for FTW who has a very small starting 5. Gobert can play well against Towns, while on the other side Barton and Harris are not a good look against Giannis and Davis. Between those two positions, FTW is giving up 8'-9'inches of height. Not a good look. Lowery would have to have major heroics but having Iggy to play defense on him would help. Lavine could guard reddick who is a similar size and just a very good spot shooter. If I were FTW I would go with Dieng at power forward, Harris at small forward and Barton off the bench. Even so, Ceasars front court would overpower FTW. Fallenphoenix This is closer than it might seem. Im really not a fan of Kemba. I know he had a good year, I'm just not sold. I think Knight wins this matchup. Klay can play Harden better than most two guards but I still give the edge to Harden. I like Middleton but I also think Wiggins can go toe to toe with him if given the chance. Maybe not with shooting, but his defense and slashing are very good. All in all the teams stack up pretty well against each other. The difference is Phoenix has Blake Griffin to run pick and rolls with and not much height at all to stop him. Although Ibaka has the length and athleticism, on the offensive end he cant carry the same load that Griffin can. It would really be up to Harden to go crazy on Thompson and then stop Blake Griffin. Problem is, Thompson can be moved around as Griffin is doubled. I think if Da_juice had a better center, preferably a scoring center, this could go in his favor. However there is too much pressure put on that front court on both sides of the ball in this matchup and Crawford off the bench puts phoenix over the top. Horry I believe the backcourts are both very solid but the edge goes to Horry because Westbrook is the best player on either team and McCollum blossomed in the playoffs. I think Aldridge would eat Love's lunch, however Horry's team is predicated on Pick and Roll's with Westbrook. Noel excells with a good point guard. That would be a great pairing. Aldridge has trouble guarding the 3 point line and I see Love as more of a spot shooter in this matchup while WB, CJ and Noel attack. JMC Whiteside can effectively nullify Vucevic. I like Vucevic a lot but this is a bad matchup for him as Whiteside can take marginalize his strengths. Bosh and Gasol would be a battle. The whole matchup reminds me of 90's basketball. The difference is Kevin Durant. If I had to choose between Isiah getting hot on Jackson or Durant playing Gay well, I'd go with Durant every time. I really like Jamers' team and I think he could have much success with that frontcourt. The problem is he faces the best frontcourt in the league in his first game. I don't think Isaiah is consistent enough to win a series on his own. In any case this is all a mute point because Jamers picked Terrance Jones so he is auto stomped.
Looking at your matchup again makes me want to change my vote. How good your team is defensively was lost on me for some reason. Gonna edit my list
