Yeah, saw the commercial and heard the song. Overall reaction was Meh. Since I'm in the camp that's not in favor of this, I'll probably not watch but truth be told, I haven't watched Hard Knocks in many years anyway. All I can say is to be careful what you ask for.
Liked the commercial, and how the incorporated Dolly. Can't wait for this to premier, first time I've ever been excited for hard knocks.
Based on the fact that I was super hyped when I got to see us on there briefly VS Falcons, I can say I am really Fing hyped to see this.
Video is great but definitely a terrible song choice. I still don't see how "Texans fans" dislike being on hard knocks. This is the history of teams that have been on it. 2014- Falcons - 6-10 (better than 2013 4-12 team) 2013- Bengals - 11-5 lost wild card (no real difference from other years they've had) 2012- Dolphins 7-9 (pretty much around where they have finished up past 2 seasons) 2010- Jets - 11-5 lost AFC Championship ( have gone downhill since that season) 2009- Bengals 10-6 lost wild card (better than previous years) 2008 - Cowboys 9-7 (made playoffs year before and after) 2007- Chiefs 4-12 (worse than previous year) in 07 and 08 the teams on it weren't as good as the year before. Every other instance doesn't really have an effect on the team. Instead of being so negative about everything how about enjoying the fact that you will get some fantastic behind the scenes coverage of your favorite football team. I'm stoked.
I can already hear all the lame country, hick, cowtown stereotypes they are going to stick on this show. HBO will further make Houston look ****ing idiot horse riding idiots.
IIRC, they don't really focus on the town the team is in, except when a player goes out in public. The most redneck we'll probably get is if they stick a camera on Ben Jones.
these sound like your stereotypes. not HBOs. riding a horse != idiot. Neither does being from the country. If they show a Texan player wearing boots that doesn't mean they are trying to portray him as dumb..

610 reported Monday, Hard Knocks think Texans fans are the best they've filmed. The support has really impressed them.

Was about to ask if anyone knew if they would be replaying the HK episodes on NFL Network like they've done in the past but I guess it doesn't matter now. Thanks dude.
