I like the Clippers no longer being a factor, but I fear the Mavs might have become a destination for future players. I'm not "worried" about the Mavs, but this is pretty big for them.

True, where are they going get their offense from besides from parsons 16 a game?

Mavs still don't have a star player and they're still going to rely on Dirk much to the detriment of their defense. And Parsons had to get microfracture surgery? Not good.

How good exactly is Jordan without CP3 and Blake alongside him? We might find out and it's probably not good for Cuban.

 Since did a duo of Parsons and Jordan become an irrisistable destination lol? I'm happy for this move because both these guys are role players yet seem to be the foundational piece of Dallas LOL.

Who cares? They are easily replaceable. Did you not see what Morey did last season to improve the bench?

why? yeah defense is going to take hit but they still have good offense and now have more depth with Pierce signing.

I think this will be very important, Cp3 and Blake are great passers. And DJ has certainly benefited tremendously on the offensive end from them. He's not gonna be nowhere near as effective with that Dallas squad as currently constructed.

I never said "irresistible". Just said they have some intriguing pieces surrounding a potential star looking for a place to go, which is true.

As I said, I'm not saying the Mavs just leaped into contender status or anything.

You can't tell me you're jealous of Dallas right now. Have some perspective, Jesus.

The Clippers losing their DPOY candidate and rim protector for nothing is a huge blow. The Clippers won't be factors next year. Who's their center going to be? Perkins? LOL

    Not bad for Houston.

Clippers get a little less talented (CP3/Reddick/Stephenson/Blake/?) and still have no bench.

Mavericks certainly increase their defense but have a weak bench, no PG, and an aging Dirk. Wes/Parsons/DJ as a core does nothing for me. I do think people are putting too much stock in DJ's need for an elite PG. Parsons is a great contributor - him & Dwight worked very well together (drive/dish).
