Our front office also gave Lin a ridiculous contract and ended up having to give a 1st round pick just to trade him and just let an "asset" walk to Dallas with nothing in return chasing a player that wasn't coming. They also drafted a guy who was scared to fly with a 1st round pick. Besides the dumb luck of landing Harden which lead to Howard _ it's a comedy laundry list of wheel spinning. We dodged what would have been a self inflicted bullet wound.

But TJ will step up for us this year. He had many flashes last year getting his first consistent playing time. I understand you guys want to trade a player every 5 minutes _ but give the kid a chance.

So since bosh was going to get the max and there isnt much difference in him and Jones, we should expect Jones to get the max too right??

good question. we lost our #3 and #4 options from last year and replaced them with a defensive player who doesn't create for himself or others.

jones needs 3 things to be an all star.

    1) improve his 3pt shot from 30% to >35%:
he's going to get so many good looks from there, even if its just the corner 3, that he needs to be able to cash in and rack up the points. this would also force defenses to close out on him for aggressively allowing him to use his above average handles to drive.

    2) strength:
this would help solidify him as a post defender and rebounder since he's sometimes overpowered.

    3) a post game:
he can hit the 3 and drive (surprisingly well for a PF), if he can post up too, he'd be an all star.

so to answer your question about next season... its too early to tell if he'll be the 3rd option. the roster isn't done yet. however as it stands i'd pencil him in for 16ppg and 7.5 rebs.

Jones needs to be more physical.
He is a great finisher around the rim, and created space even when shooting poorly through his ability to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim.

This season it is time for his shot to be found. Even 33-35% from 3 would keep the defences more honest. And tike for him to put on his big boy physical pants on the defensive end. In college defence was his forte, so I expect to see that come through for him at some stage.

I will say he goes 14-8 (if roster doesnt change)

T-Jones had zero fragrant fouls over the past 2 years, so he must smell pretty good.

His only fragrant foul was steppin' on that homeless dude, and even the homeless dude didn't press charges. Dude just asked Terrance what fragrance was that.

    "@HoustonsOwnDrew: T.Jones is HOOOOOOOOT"

So, who is Drew and why is he promoting TJones so much lately? Is there ready something brewing or just wishful thinking?

Anything is possible if Bosh got one. Bosh even said he was soft. He just used the word "FINESSE". Which means delicate. LMAO.

If Bosh was so elite like you're making him out to be _ LeBron would still be in Miami. LeBron is telling you how weak Bosh is with his actions to leave but you refuse to believe it because Morey wanted him.

Anyway... 14 & 7 for TJ this year with Parsons gone.
