What a very strange move by the Eagles. I don't really understand what the hell they're doing with that team. I'm not upset about it though. F the eagles!
Bradford has more talent, but this is a great deal for the Rams. Move on from an injury prone unproven and overpaid QB.
By trading up. They still have their 1st, 2nd and 3rd rd picks amirite? A 2nd rounder in 2016. This is 2015 so it won't affect their draft immediately(but yes ridiculous that they'd have to even throw in a draft pick at all to take the oft injured Bradford off the Rams hands).
I don't get this at all. Bradford has negative value if anything. There's got to be something else going on.
It will all make sense soon. The first best thing Philly could have ever done was higher Chip. 2nd best thing was give him all the power.
Yes - in losing a 2nd round next year any trade to move up that much is going to include multiple picks over multiple years - that's a major pick they could have thrown in. But you said this move was part of "positioning themselves to move up for Mariota". How does this move do that in any way? And if they were able to move up for Mariota, then why would they even want to trade for Bradford and lose a pick for a QB that they wouldn't start? Or at best, would be a 1-yr rental when they already have Foles to serve that role much cheaper?
