As I live abroad, I always find this time of the year as being the most difficult (especially with our Rockets back in the playoffs)

I have unfortunately been struggling to find a good site which carries live broadcast of our team to date - therefore, I am making a SHOUT for help. I know that a few links have been posted here, but was hoping that we could have a thread where everyone can post their means of following the games while being outside of the country.

I am certain that there are a lot of us out there that could benefit from this info as well.

So, I will be grateful to receive some feedback - and MANY THANKs in advance!

Can we just sticky one of these threads already? Just for the playoffs..

Nothing against you, garthomps, but there seems to be a thread about this for every playoff game and countless others during the season. Maybe if we sticky this until the Rockets win in the finals, it'll save the trouble of people starting new threads about the same thing.

    Just a suggestion.

Agreed. Game to game the method is still the same. BTW, the Sopcast link for tonight looks to be in English. All others probably Chinese.

Which? VP1? I've never seen this one.

Great, the one night I'm going out to see it, it's in English... :(

Anyways.. I'll be at the MarqE center [wings n more?] tonight. Hope to see some of you guys out there tonight!

Yep. Basically this stream is broadcasting all the games today in English! I watched the Cavs game earlier and now SA/Den is on.

    Just a head's up if vp1 isn't working...

WMOE has espn right now so should have the Rockets.

hopefully vp1 will come back up as the audio and video was better.

I like watching the games on CCTV cause it helps me work on my Mandarin.

    lol.

I like the commercials but prefer the english play by play. If I could only get Chinese commercials and English play by play I would be all set.

Still Sopcast - but channel 6116

as I said the audio and video isn't as good but it's keeping me out of the bar...

hopefully vp1 comes back up at some point and I can switch over.

Actually if I HAVE to watch a Chinese broadcast I think CCTV is a little better.

it's buffering again, but really slowly so I think it is almost back up.

I'll keep trying during breaks and let ya' know if it works again.

If you must insist on English channel, WMOE on SopCast works but the bit rate is not so good as vp1
