Paul Pierce played has played like an old man since forever so he didn't have much adjusting to do.

Bryant has been getting more and more statistically efficient with age, but he really bogs the offense down these days. He can't run the floor for easy buckets anymore.

(He should be in the triangle offense...)

He needs accept being a role player. Stop trying to do too much, the offense doesn't have to run thru him. Do the little things but do it good instead of trying to do everything good.

Kobe Bryant should actually study Grant Hill if anything.

If Kobe's not "Kobe" then LA is not a threat. So, who cares?

I thought his adjustment was that he had Rondo who knew when to pass him the ball

I think Kobe will be a good job of adjusting and aging gracefully. He has the work ethic for it. As mentioned though, he needs to be second fiddle now. If he can get a franchise player to work next too, he's going to keep being pretty good.

At 30 million dollars there is no way what are saying can happen (you are right, by the way). He is already has plenty of money and endorsements is where the real money is at for a star of his magnitude. His ego is the problem, Dirk won more with less (should have a bigger ego) and takes 10 million to keep winning (or let Chandler steal his money). Kobe's ego will win out over his brain just like like it won when he was in the hotel room with that girl in Colorado.

It's one thing to say you have limitations. It's another to actually realize it. You think once LA loses 5 games in a row, that in the 6th game Kobe won't chuck 35 shots to will his team to a win?

Drive full-court then throw your arms into the defender's face in order to get to the free throw line?

    Kobe should study Larry Bird.

Every move he made had a purpose. He knew how to move without the ball, how to make teammates move where he wanted them to, and he used his body very well.

Also, Larry Legend shot the lights out.

Kobe will probably never master the team-game the way Bird did, but it would still be a great model if he really wants to get away from athleticism-based basketball. Not saying Kobe only relied on athleticism. His footwork and postup abilities are phenomenal.

No Shaq and no Gasol. Kobe can be the best Kobe he has ever been and LA still isn't a threat.

It's no secret that the more the offense is centered on Kobe, the worse the team is for it.

In my opinion, one key thing we will see is him taking less of long 2s and more spot up 3s. That is my interpretation of being more 'efficient'
