Bill Russell has more rings than both of them combined, thus he is the best.

and Wangzhizhi is definitely better than Yao because of the 1 ring.

Actually Wang Zhi Zhi was pretty damned good. It's just that he was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Jordan was the most skilled for sure. But if you're arguing pure domination, see prime Shaq/ Sabonis. They absolutely killed.

Ok, I don't understand why people try to simplify this mentality and counter it with something that makes sense. Yes Horry has 7 rings, but what did he do in this those 7 rings? Leadership and rising to the occaison matters and is apart of what makes greatness and earns respect from other players. That is why you have other players and people saying MJ(who was the cold cut leader in 6 championships), Kobe(who was the cold cut leader in 2 and still an all star/closer 25 ppg+ in the other 3) vs someone like horry was merely a roll player.

Here it from another great, Magic,

    http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7119504/magic-johnson-pokes-fun-lebron-james-playoff-struggles

You can here Charles, Kenny, anyone really argue this. They know how hard it is to go all the way and lead your team, guys who have won and haven't won agreed on this. And we saw what lebron has done each time on the biggest stage(it is one thing to have a game off, it is another to just choke the entire two series).

Then you have guys like stockton who were great, wenet to finals two times, performed well even, but just came across MJ which makes him the superstar of all superstars. But stockton is still better than Jkidd, who has one, but did it as a complete roll player, albeit contributing and still noteable, but not as the no 1 or 2 guy

So, He had a good supporting cast and he made the best of it. You can't fault players for having good players, basketball is about cohesion, no matter how good you are it takes 5 to win, so saying that a player had this just isn't an argument that hold.

the main factors are what they accomplished, and who is the leader doing it. Stockton had malone, but he was also a clear cut captain on that team. Jason kidd was the leader of that team and he is one of the greatest pgs. Magic had all kinds of help on his squad, but he was a winner and a leader. Mj had pippen, pippen had mj, they had paxon...whoever, doesn't matter they won and he was the leader of the team. Kobe had shaq vice versca, but he was also a leader and a closer, and all star on that team so both of them get the credit.

Just trying to simplify it in theses ways are ridiculous.
