[80's Retro Cinema] Richard Linklater's "Everybody Wants Some"

    I still don't understand that trick where they bike behind a truck and go faster.

    Well, here's an answer about "that trick" anyway. With the help of the avuncular Cinzano truck driver, drafting or even going faster doesn't necessarily have to be much of a trick. It's a training scene after all as ESPN put it. The real trick though, which I think is what you're wondering about, would be whether going 60 mph on bike in 1979 is possible. There has been a debate about it and some say it's possible. I'm no bike expert. So here you go.

    Watched it this afternoon and really liked it. It doesn't quite hold up to the same level as D&C, but it's close. The addition of the Jolly Fox as a bar in the movie is pretty cool for those SHSU alums.
