    Dunno why everyone's hating on the guy. He led the league in minutes and points. sure he had lapses defensively but how much can you ask of him? Personally I'm happy and relieved that he seems committed to Houston and isn't thinking of jumping ship

    I heard the same line from Melo over and over. Everyone wants to win, now show some work on both ends of the floor. Leading the league in minutes played is a useless stat. Look at the guys below him, Butler, Lowry right behind.

    2 guys who put forth more energy in less minutes. I think we'd all prefer 33-34 good minutes on both ends of the floor then 38 with defensive lapses.

    And he personally lobbied for Love to stay even though it's clear they're not really close friends, but he needs him.

    Will Harden do the same for any of his teammates? Or just ask Morey to upgrade the roster at the end of another offseason?

    Talk is cheap,let's see if part of "everything in my power"is learning to raise the games of those around you.
