Both these guys are super role players. The best two way role players in the league.

Faried battled through injuries and had a disappointing season, but is looking like his old self now... ditto for Kawhi.

Picked in the same draft... 7 spots away from each other.
Curious to know what those who watch them more often think.

Kawhi Leonard's improvement spurs San Antonio

Why Kenneth Faried’s Recent Offensive Explosion is Encouraging.

Faried is awesome and a fun player to watch, but give me Kawhi and his ability to defend every premier SG/SF this league has to offer.

I would love to have both players on our team.

However Farried is more unique to me, there are many very good defensive sg/sf who can shoot the three. But the energy Farried brings with the skills he has is more rare. He reminds me of Ben Wallace when he played with Orlando.

Leonard and it's not even close. Faried may be freakishly athletic and make lots of flashy plays, but I'd take a well trained well oiled machine that is Leonard this season. I can tell Leonard to do everything on the court and wouldn't have to worry about whether he has the ability or not.

He is the ultimate jack of all trades and close to mastering of one.

Leonard. All roads go through Lebron/KD in the playoffs. I don't think you have a chance if you can't force their teammates to create shots.

Except not 1/10 as good as Ben defensively.

Jimmy Butler for the ultimate role player.

If just between the 2, faried. Due to there are more good 3/4s compare to 2/3s.

Both of these guys seemed to have super high ceilings and lots of hype early-on (happens a lot), then kind of fell back down to earth. Leonard still has a high ceiling but I think expectations are more realistic now.

I'd go with Leonard who has the higher ceiling and can defend the league's elite wings. Leonard is a middle of the pack wing with the potential to create problems for the Lebron's and Durant's. That's a huge asset.

Faried doesn't really stand out in a conference full of better power forwards.

    Marcus busty Morris.

But seriously we could have had Leonard and Parsons for cheap long term.

I would take Kawhi. The guy is a soon to be all star.

I mean after Durant, who is the next best SF in the West?

The next tier is Kawhi, Batum, Parsons and I like Parsons but Kawhi has the much higher ceiling being 22 to Parson's 25.

    Iggy has regressed

Depends on the team I suppose.

On the Rockets? Parsons by far.
