I've been working out consistently 3-4 times a week for over a year. Half an hour cardio on the ellyptical or treadmill, assisted pull up bar, bench press, 20 pound dumbell curls, and this rope thing where you make waves. My question is my dominant arm is noticeably bigger and has more definition than my weak arm is that normal? The thing is i work both arms the same so i don't understand why one arm is getting better results......

for your weaker arm, just use heavier weights to balance it

in no time, both arms will look the same

Hmmm, i'll try 30 on my weak arm and 20 on my dominant with the dumbells, it's just tripping me out because i do the same amount of reps with the same weight but one arm gets better results O_O

I wouldn't suggest using a heavier weight in the weaker arm. Just keep at it and I'm sure it will get corrected. On the rope, just make sure you're using the same effort in both arms.

My right arm is pretty big compared to my left, but my left has more definition. I switch often on the faps because I'm amphibious.

Haha the crazy thing is, the times i do fap...i fap with my weak arm .___.
My dominant arm and faps don't get along and is just awkward. So it's not the fapping :p

My right arm is stronger than my left because I have it up to use my mouse constantly for 8 hours a day.

I wouldn't use heavier weights just yet.

I would focus mostly on isolation (like dumbbell) and unilateral exercises. If you are doing rows and/or bench press, you can overcompensate with your dominant arm.

Also, let you weak arm dictate your workout, meaning that if you are doing dumbbell curls, start with your weak arm and do as many reps as you can. Then match that number of reps with you stronger arm and don't do any more even if you feel you could.

I must warn you Sully. This is my weak arm

maybe switch to barbell to guarantee a more equal weight distribution among both arms

I wouldn't switch weights. The difference could well be because of the things you do in your normal life, you do with your dominant hand. Carrying groceries, picking up objects, etc. could make enough of a difference.

Just make sure to concentrate more on the form with the weak arm, and try and do more daily activities with the weaker one.

It will balance out eventually. Don't need to use heavier weights on one hand.

Try one extra rep with your weaker arm
