I'm going to be in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Where is the best place to watch football (all games) the entire day and bet on football the entire day? And of course drink and eat.

I'll be there Labor Day Weekend, can't wait! Actually all the sports books are cool in all the big casinos, you really can't go wrong.

Where on the strip are you going to be?

Obviously I'm not going to send you to the sportsbook at Mandalay if you are staying at the Golden Nugget.

    A few good places-

-NYNY has a cool sports bar that is formerly the ESPN Zone, and the sports book is literally feet away from the restaurant bar. Its similar to a buffalo wild wings but the distance to the sports book makes this location my person go-to spot to make a bet and actually watch the game comfortably. I hardly ever have to wait on a table as well.

-The Twin Peaks near Planet Hollywood is also pretty good, and has some "scenic views" of course. However, you are pretty far from the sports book if I remember.

-Of course Hooters Casino has a Hooters.

    -etc. etc.

-Caesars has probably the best & biggest sports book if you want to stay and hang at one for an extended time. Mandalay, MGM, PH, Wynn, etc. all have impressive ones as well, but I think Caesars might be the only one I've actually sat for awhile to watch a game after betting.

For live game watching, none of the sports books are that great for game watching, and don't expect great table service. On a Saturday with it being a holiday weekend with football starting up.... good luck getting a seat at any of the major sport books run by the casinos. Its going to be crowded as sh#%.

My recommendation would be to make some bets at NYNY and go next door to the ESPN Zone or whatever its called now.

Was there at the beginning of August.

Only recommendation I have is 800 degrees outside of Monte Carlo. Good, fairly cheap pizza.

Otherwise, I didn't do a ton of betting.

Any of the big casinos on the strip have great sportbooks.. you really can't watch the games though as there are lots of distractions.

We watched Sunday football at Lagasse's Stadium last September and it was amazing.

Caesar's Sports Book is pretty impressive. That's probably where you want to go.

Calvin Harris is playing at the Omnia Labor Day Saturday I think. Goodluck getting in though, and if you do, be prepared to spend a lot. I was just there last weekend and that place it's a really nice club.

Sorry, event is on Friday, Sept. 4 (not Saturday). Omnia is one of the newest clubs, located at Caesars. It was insane when I went but worth it if you can get in.

No love for the Aria book? Seating is somewhat limited, but it's pretty modern and has a ton of TVs.

Caesars is bigger, but I prefer the Bellagio book - classic, no BS sportsbook.

Lagasse's Stadium sounds incredible - never been unfortunately.

If its the place I walked passed, there was a line literally about a mile long. Went out of Caesar's and basically to the sidewalk of the strip. 20 somethings all dressed up, waiting to get in. It was about midnight.

I'm 28, and I said to my wife, "if my life ever comes to waiting in a line like that to get into a club, just shoot me."

My god. I thought it was sad.

Wrong, wrong, wrong...Just off the top of my head, Westgate, Red Rock, and Lagasse's Stadium are all bigger

OP go to Lagasse's Stadium at the Palazzo and watch and bet on games there. Call and make a reservation in advance. It's a little pricey, but they have a nice, unique layout, quality food, good service, and a full sportsbook.

Westgate Superbook is under renovation and they don't know when they're going to be finished remodeling.

Omnia is easily one of the best clubs in the country. It's huge too so you never feel like you're cramped. It's worth it just to go and see the chandelier that looks like it's part of the ceiling before it starts rotating and doing all kinds of crazy stuff. I don't really care for any of these "headlining" DJs, but Calvin Harris is in Vegas all the time so it's really not a big deal. There shouldn't be a problem getting in as long as you get there early and pay whatever ridiculous cover charge they're asking for. Keep in mind though that I usually never wait or pay to get into any Vegas clubs.
