As long as I don't have to stream the in and out feed from ESPN3, I'm happy. Hopefully the wife doesn't try to plan things around that time on Saturday. Big game.
Which one will it be on? I only get ESPN and ESPN2. ::EDIT:: It will be on ESPNU. Hopefully I can still stream that. http://www.ncaa.com/news/football/a...ball-jsu-looks-more-magic-home-semifinal-game
Sam starts at 3pm and my High School plays for the State Championship at 4pm Guess I'll be doing a lot of channel flipping on Saturday
Ah, memories... <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Jj2KnqD7Oh0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
In my logo search, I came across the SHSU team that has the best logo (large image)... Spoiler Sadly, it's the quidditch team.
So far, most everything the Bearkats couldn't have happen have had happen. They've turned the ball over, they haven't really put together anything resembling coherent offense, and they're having trouble getting off the field. If nothing else, we have learned that this group is resilient, so as long as they can keep JSU from completely running away with it in the first half, you have to at least give them a puncher's chance to come back.
Yep, another nice run deep in the playoffs. Surely there are those that will say that it's no longer enough to get this far in the playoffs without winning it all, but I'm certainly not one of those people, and I suspect anyone that is must not have been around or been paying attention during the Todd Whitten years.
Well, that sucked. Good thing we still have a young team and will right back in this position next year. Lots to look forward to with this team.
Saw the thread about SWT and figured it was time talk about the best team in Texas... SHSU tabbed as favorites for SLC 16 (6 offense/8 defense/2 specialists) returning starters and 49 lettermen returning. The offense was already one of the best. I expect PJ Hall to lead the defense and be a national player of the year candidate.
I'm pretty optimistic for the season. Plan on going to at least a couple of games in Huntsville. Really, there's no reason we shouldn't run the table. Hopefully we don't have any dud games, costing us a chance of staying home in the playoffs.
If you go to some games in Huntsville I'd recommend evening games or waiting until late in the season. I swear it's like they go out of their way to schedule their games at 2:00pm during the hottest time of the year.
I agree. Not sure why they think the day games are a good idea. I guess for the old folks in the stands. Considering I plan on bringing my 2 year old son, I definitely don't want it to be too hot. So evening and/or October and on games are probably in my future.
I'm definitely planning to go to the SFA game at NRG. Have some customers that happen to be alums so I get to expense some tickets.
