Is there an NBA team right now that is similar to this Spain squad? How far can they go in this league, playoff capable??

Yep, with ease. Gasol brothers clogging the paint would be a nightmare for the opposing team.

Turkey giving team USA fits, plus what the Spurs did to the Heat is convincing me what real team basketball can do. If Spain plays as well as a team as Turkey does, and with their talent, i'd think it's possible that they could make it to the finals IMO.

    lol

Watching the Spain-Brazil game today I thought that Brazil could compete in the EC and that Spain could compete in the WC.

If they were in the East, they'd be quite interesting, and definitely a Conference Finals contender. I could also see them fighting for a playoff spot if they were in the West, as well.

Having said that...it's hard to say for sure, though. International ball is a different style than the NBA. They're clearly very good, though.

3-5 in the East, 8-10 in the West.

Very good team. Top two or three in the East; top five or six in the West.

All star teams don't win with little practice against real teams

The wouldn't beat Memphis. And I doubt Team USA beats the Spurs.

Which is a good point about team Spain. I would actually be willing to say that team Spain has just as much if not more continuity than the Spurs have had.

Most of those guys have been playing together for who knows how long. Literally since they were kids. That means something.

Team Spain would be easily a top 5 NBA team IMO. Can they beat a typical USA Dream Team??... usually not if the Lebron's, and the Durants play (even though they took it to them two years ago), but I do consider them the favorites to beat this years team USA.

I didn't even realize Ibaka plays for Spain . Learned something today... (would put Navarro at SG and Rubio at PG, though...)

When this team faces the Grizzlies, would Marc Gasol's confrontation with himself create a quantum singularity causing our reality to implode upon itself?
