Not impressed. NBA is a lot more physical, can he maintain the stroke with increased physicality and higher physical demands. Then, as an NBA season progresses the tempo and the physical increases as well, going into the playoffs.

Last season Casspi looked pretty good in preseason and early season, stroking the ball and everything, then reality hit him up. $4.8m is way overpayfor a complete unproven. Let's remember that the best player on the Greek team (I don't think he plays this year) is V-Span and we all know how that turned out...

It makes me smile to see these teams full of people with absolutely no muscle tone whatsoever.

How.do you say "dietician" and "strength coach" in Serbian? Or would I have to make those words up for the Serbian people by combining simpler words? I can't believe there weren't better options than this guy at 4M even if it's only a 1 year deal. I doubt he's better than even an aging Shawn Marion.

Pretty obvious people don't understand the reason for the high 1st yr.

It is to get 2nd yr as team option and no guarantee.

Team gets to see if he can play.

He should be better than Marion because of age and wear and tear.

Besides, they need a large enough contract for possible trade matching at deadline so this is perfect for that.

He's not paying well last year, but spectacular in years before. But in the basketball world, you are as good as what you have done recently. I hope he can be more effective as role player here, plus he's still pretty young.
