That's part of the problem, the guy is just content at making it to the NBA. Let alone excelling at this level. They need to find a way to light a fire under this guy.
Very Very depressing article. This Cat says nothing at all about hitting the weights hard. Or working on my game every morning. Or working with my personal trainner to enhance my overall skill sets. He is talking about painting, and looking at nature. Oh god, this chump is pathetic. He does seem to care in the least bit what people think of him. Thats scary. Because this means he is content where he is in regards to his basketball career. He is the childrens story book version of 'Ferdinand The Bull". Soft as tissue paper. Let him go Rockets Organization.
This, sadly. Dorsey was the same, he "made it" when he was drafted, beyond that there wasn't any drive to become the best basketball player he could be.
I remember watching one of those NBA TV rookie predraft shows where they follow around the rookies from their workouts to their hotels during their trip to the nba draft. Thabeets workouts were the weakest sets of drills i had ever seen in my life as a high school basketball player, somebody please tell me they know what im reffering to?!
I'm all for playing him 40 minutes a game this season. We need all the help we can get for high draft picks!
Wow, I read things like this and get more and more skeptical of Morey and his logic. This guy is pure garbage and is more than happy being just that. He thinks he's still at UConn and thinks he'll improve training against 18 yr olds. Nice that he got his family out and gets to go sightseeing but how about justifying a #2 selection. This guy has no hope and will be out of the league in a few years.
