I know it's a Rockets forum and last time we had one of these it was in the Hangout and the Rockets got most of the votes so lets try it in Houston Sports.

So most of us love all of them but if you had to pick your Favorite who is it?

Easily the Rockets. I have been a huge fan since I was a child. I was at the championships at age 5 and have watched them religiously ever since I can remember.

Do I count? I am not a native Houstonian, but I spent several years there going to school, and that's where I fell in love with the Rockets :D

    Rockets 4 Life.

Texans are a very close second.

Astros don't even make my list. Love how McLane is still putting a crap product out there every year since the 2005 WS. They're starting to look like the Kansas City Royals....

    Don't know the Dynamo....

    For me, it's:

    Texans
    Astros
    Rockets

I'm a big Rockets fan, I just prefer football and baseball over basketball.

It was an unbelievably hard choice for me between the Astros and the Rockets.

I moved out of Houston in 2002 (the year the Texans started) so as far as the NFL goes, I have pretty much been 50% Texans, 50% Chargers. Its just not the same as when I loved my Oilers.

Astros. Texans run a distant second, Rox are right there with them.

It's nothing personal; baseball is just in my blood.

As far as the guy commenting on McLane running crap out there--at least they *exceed* expectations. The Rockets are simply nauseating right about now.

I had to go with Rockets over Texans for longevity reasons. If the Oilers had never left, it would be Oilers.

Right now it's the Texans and Astros in a tie for first, with the Rockets and Dynamo not far behind.

    Dynamo
    Rockets
    Astros
    Texans

There is nothing like going to a Dynamo game in Houston.

    Rockets

the only team that gave this city it's major championships (please spare the Dynamos, Comets, Aeros and old AFL titles mentions)

Football and baseball are in my blood. I'm Texans first by far. Astros second. Rockets third and far behind. The odd thing is that I've been in Austin for the entire existance of the Texans.

Texans (football is king), Stros, then the Rockets. Could care less about soccer.

I am prettt surprised by all the Texans votes. I barely even consider them a professional sports team. For me, they are last of the 4, even behind the Dynamo.

I agree. I don't even see how people can consider them a Houston team when grouped with these others. True Houston football fans should be Titans fans imo. You don't change an alliance because of geography. That only speaks to the fairweather syndrome that was so common of Oiler fans. Hmm, as it turns out, I think I just figured out something ;)

A true fan doesn't need to live in the city where his favorite team plays. I've been a Cowboys fan since birth and have never once lived in Dallas.

You mean the team with the ******* owner that left the city without any remorse? Who wants to be a fan of that?

I can't wait to see how the perception changes once the Texans have a couple of really good seasons, and its going to happen soon.

A true Houstonian doesn't root for the Cowboys.

This post is like one of those little games in the newspaper where you're supposed to count all the things wrong with it.
