Listening to the radio yesterday and they said Houston has an offense crisis:

The Astros are 21st in MLB in offense
The Texans were like 27th in offense in the NFL
The Rockets were 29th out of 30 teams in the NBA

All the teams are at the bottom of their leagues in offense.

    So what do we do?

The Astros sign a pitcher (Clemens)
The Texans draft a defensive end #1 over all
The Rockets trade their lottery pick for a hard nose defensive player - avg. 10 ppg.

    Go figure!

What is the Astros runs allowed (defense) rank?

What did the Texans defense rank last year?

    The Astros are slumping
The texans had a conservative style and few weapons; both issue they've addressed
The Rockets missed Tracy and Yao for a good portion of the season.

Defense wins championships, though, yet all three offenses are better than they appear.

Astros suck......Rockets were injured all season(so they still rock).....and the Texans are retarted..... 1 outta 3 aint.

Honestly people I cant understand how you guys can watch an Astros game. Its like watching a 1-0 minor league soccer game. Please someone take the Stros batting lineup and shoot them cus their run producing is almost Royals-like. Good thing u got pitching... ;)

I don't know how you can watch JVG's weak ass attempt at offense, so to each his own.

The Rockets were a good offensive team the year before last; last was because of injuries. What's the Astros excuse? ;) Phil Garner is a defensive-minded manager!

The Royals' offense had no trouble putting up runs against the Stros. :(

That saying has always bothered me.
A 2-0 baseball game is still loss and the Stro's have lost a lot of playoff games where they were unable to score 2 runs or even one.

A 70-67 basketball game is still a loss and under the JVG era there's been a few of those too.

With two teams being relatively even its better to have D that is as long as your O can still produce. It does you no good to have great pitching if they can't get run support.
