When I look at the Rockets What I find
is that the Drop off between Starter and bench Player
    Is not THAT BIG

    Steve is better than Moochie
. . . But Moochie is d*mn decent and even
. . . better in some areas. He is more of
. . . a floor general than steve to me.

    Shandon's D and Mobley's O

    Walt and Bull
. . . Walt moves better and a better off the
    . . . the dribble shot . . but Bull is the
. . . better Pick and Roller and the 3 ball.

    Moe and KT
. . . The Twins. The Awesome TWINS!!

    Dream and Cato
. . . One unfortunately on the downward side
. . . The other HOPEFULLY on the way up

I think the Mix n Match line ups that Rudy
    runs keeps other teams guessing.
Throw in some Pig and Langhi or 'Los

    This team is AWESOME
you never know what treat you will get from
    night to night.

And to think Doc Rivers gets Coach of the Year in a weak East for going 41-41, because he was attributed to having the best team chemistry and the best bench (scoring 48% of team points) with no stars. We are scoring 43% from the bench.

The amount of heart and attitude KT and Mobley bring off the bench has a lot to do with Rudy carefully managing playing time and giving player's roles in which they can excel. They nice niche he gives Bullard and Collier to take advantage of their picking and moving skills and their shooting is indicative of having a 48 minute game plan. The way Moochie can supply instant assists shows Rudy is not against putting Francis in the 2-spot and exploiting mismatches.

Great benches are the best sign of outstanding team chemistry and coaching philosophy and (yes) coaching skills.

Rudy is having his best year!
