Why the hell does Taco Bell not have salsa or jalepenos?!? Absolutely mind confounding on their refusal to provide these. No cilantro, either. Just these stupid hot sauces.

Marketing folks decided a decade ago to add a fire sauce, which was r****ded, but I'm still astounded that they don't have the simplist Tex-Mex stuff as options.

Because it costs a lot more money to create salsa when instead you can offer packets of hot vinegar juice, thus keeping prices down, thus being able to offer six packs of tacos for minimal amounts of money.

Oddly, the Taco Bell in Brownwood, TX has a small salsa bar that includes "salsa fresca," pickled jalapenos, onions and cilantro. It's the only one I've ever seen like that. Go figure...

So what? I believe Salsa has surpassed ketchup in popularity, and jalepenos are a freaking no brainer. If you make ANY type of nachos, jalepenos should be a given.

Do you really expect that much from Taco Bell? They're only one step up from Jack in the Box's meat paste.

Go to Taco Cabana, a *real* tex mex fast food place, if you want that stuff.

If you are an oldie of taco bell, they used to make this thing called Cheesorita in the 90's. It was made with red sauce (pizza sauce) and cheese... I think it's the best thing Taco Bell ever made....

You must like the 1/2 soggy 1/2 crunch meat paste tacos at Jack in the Box then?

I don't understand how those things are still on Jack in the Box's menu. Somehow those never got removed when they upgraded the menu back in the 80's.

Sadly, there isn't a TC anywhere near my work, and the TC on Montrose and Westheimer is closing soon, so there won't be any very near to where I frequent. :(

Of course, I'm still pissed at TC killing Two Pesos, but that's another story, altogether.

    Two Pesos was indeed superior.
