I could see it. Amar'e's lack of defense would be a bit less important with Yao back but I still don't like it at all. His finishing at the rim and his face up game really intrigue me, though.

I could imagine a STAT SnT. Bud would likely be 'demanded'. Hill, too. Add SB31 as likely and Scola's contract might be requisite, but I don't see it included.

 

Interesting. The proposed S n' T is exactly the same one that fell through on the trade deadline. Except, Amare is actually going to be on multi-year contract and will take his physical before he is traded to us.

I'd imagine PHX prefer getting some younger pieces back instead of 30-year-old Battier and Scpla... maybe the two Arizona boys?

 

I think its unlikely, Amare would probably choose to play with Lebron, Wade, or Joe Johnson.
