    So far...
    _____

    _____

Thread difficulty level: one video per post -- all songs must be after the year 2000.

Wow... Not only did I read it correctly, but I typed the century in myself, and completely overlooked it.... My mistake, Cheetah... Everyone ignore my previous post...

    Is this considered rock?

I looked up what song had the most plays in my iTunes the past 14 years and this was it.

After thinking about it though, I think it's this.

Good call on Franz Ferdinand, but I'd go with the more obvious choice.

From Silent Alarm. One of the best albums of the past twenty years. They had so much potential, but peaked at their debut album.

Not entirely... It's just been been designated to the backseat for the past 18+ years... with mediocre Hip Hop and unoriginal pop driving shotgun and at the wheel respectively...

The good news is... Rock has been, for the most part, just as mediocre all those years... so not much has been missed by mainstream audiences...

We're all hoping this will change for the better... sooner rather than later...

The album that contains the song in the OP is one of the greatest modern rock albums ever made (Source Tags and Code by ...And you Will Know us By the Trail of Dead). I think it's been forgotten, because the albums that followed kind of sucked in comparison. Kind of the same thing that happened to Bloc Party as Mr Brightside mentioned.

It's hard to pick a favorite from Is This It.
