I think he'll be a good fit with the Rockets. We're a contender.

Harden will be able to relate to his ratchet..

And neutralize the need to act out. Then they can be ratchet together when it's safe

Him & Harden are friends. We are 10x better than LA and Detroit

no idea why he wouldnt choose Houston.. but then again his judgement skills don't seem too great

What's the least we could give Denver for Lawson?

    No for real...

    K-Pap/Dorsey/Prigs

Not sure that adds up cap wise...

So one team has a good sophomore guard and just spend the #2 pick in the draft on a PG. another just signed a PG to 4 years $80 million. And the last still has a gaping hole at PG.

The question here is why include the Lakers and Detroit? What leverage does that put on Houston?

I know I'm in the minority, but I have a bad feeling about Lawson coming to Houston. Doesn't defend, has regressed as a 3pt shooter, etc. Plus he has 2 years left which will make getting into the free agent bonanza next summer difficult. I think I'd rather pass.

You never know how long that championship window is going to last; and as of right now, we're setting ourselves up to be outgunned again.

Our turnover numbers are crippling. We need another scorer and playmaker. He's a fringe All-Star and his value will never be lower.

    Do it.

They probably don't believe Jennings will be same, which is a safe bet. Detroit has Drummond who could really use a point like Lawson to get him the ball, Reggie Jackson is more of a combo guard, and they don't have a starting SF. I can see them adding Lawson and moving the guards down a position.

    Lawson / Dinwiddie
    Jackson / Meeks
    KC-Pope / Johnson
    Ilyasova / Morris
    Drummond / Bayne

Would make then a solid playoff team in the east. And as for the Lakers, well they do dumb **** all the time, Kobe wants to be competitive, they will add whatever big name they can.

His teams haven't exactly been competitive. Perhaps he's a different player on a contender playing for a player's coach.

This cold be the Josh Smith acquisition of the 15-16 season. Low risk, high reward potentially

Papaniko, Jones, Prigioni and either Dorsey or Johnson is what it would take to get it done financially I believe.
