Brian sources suck. He use to be only good for Lebron inside info but he even lost that privilege.I am sure it would be no surprise to any of us for Dwight to command the max.

    CW: Darkhorse candidate: Dallas Mavericks

Why did they say Brian Windhorst when the video is Calvin Watkins?

Says Brian Windhorst: "He's still a very good center ... but the amount of money he's gonna command is gonna be kinda high ... as much as $30M per year, and I think the Rockets might be the only team that might be willing to say, 'We'll pay that.'"

Rockets wont pay that especially if he can't play back to backs.

Depends on how well he plays this year, and whether the Rockets make the Finals, but anyone who assumes Dwight is a lock for the max doesn't know Morey. Assuming no promises were made to get Dwight to sign here, that is.

I would be a terrible owner because I'd tell my stars to take paycuts and pay them under the table over the next ten years.

He'd better play 70+ games and post at least 18/12 if that's what he wants.

Additionally, everyone knows Windhorst only knows things about LeBron.

Anyway, Dwight deserves that money. It's just a matter of for how long.

Why does it say Brian Windhorst?

Calvin Watkins is the one who said that.

And I'm not blaming you OP... ESPN's own website says Brian Windhorst.

Without Howard we are in big trouble. He's the best center in the league, and he's the only rebounder on the team. Literally. The team cannot win a championship without him as currently constructed, and may not even make the playoffs. Pay him, and then start getting creative in the draft and FA.

Mavs signing a post-athleticism Dwight Howard would possibly be the most Mavs thing they could possibly do.
