He's a 12th man in a position of depth and veterans ahead of him with a coach who play's the vets. He must work his ass off but he may not get much time. He wll have to prove it in practice and in junk/ limited minutes.

We are super deep and his growth may be a victim of that

This myth that McHale only plays vets is just not factually accurate. McHale plays the players that he believes are the best for the team. Granted usually those are vets.

McHales 1st season Parsons played as a rookie to the tune of 1804. PPat was a 2nd year player and got 1400 minutes.

Year #2 Parsons a 2nd year player 2758 minutes, Beverley came out of Russia mid-season despite never playing an NBA minute in his life average 17 min/gm the 41 games he was here. Greg FREAKING Smith got 1100 and 10 starts. Marcus Morris got 1154 minutes after we trade PPat.

Year#3 TJones got 2078 minutes after running with the Vipers as a rookie. And Troy Daniels got called up for the play-offs and got real minutes in the clutch.

Year#4 Tarik Black got 12 starts and 393 before leaving the team as a rookie. K-Papa was getting rotation minutes as a NBA rookie before he was hurt, and despite only garbage time the 2nd half of the season after we picked up Brewer he still average 17min/gm.

So please get a new paradigm. McHale WILL PLAY YOUNG GUYS IF THEY CAN CONTRIBUTE!

I'll also add CF SCREAMED to free TWill. Fire off the Cannonball. We all saw why that never happened.

And Baby Swiss Chocolate got his feet wet in the play-off after running at the valley all season.

McHale is smarter than you guys think he is. I dare say he is smarter about basketball than any of us and that's why Morey has him as his coach.

I think morey had mchale bench him last season to bring down his market value. Morey is trying to build a super team. I think there is a lot of back door conversations being had, no way kj signed that contract thinking he was gonna be benched behind Thorton.

Don't you worry about it, if he's given consistent minutes he'll produce.

His salary isn't at all much anyway, not that serious.

If he learns to knock down threes he is a starting SF in this league, and potential stud.

Really would like to see him get some early minutes this season. We have so much depth, no reason not to use it.
