God, sometimes you forget how sick Morey is at upgrading the supporting cast. He's never gotten a superstar yet, but boy can this man build around someone. This is why I hope the Knicks lose Amare for the year, we keep our pick in the lottery, and we get two studs in this deep, deep draft. You know Morey is going to maximize those picks.
Why does everyone keep putting Nene at 4 and Gasol at 5??? It should be the other way around if they are on the same team, right....SMH
I would much rather have Gasol than Chris Paul. Chris Paul is way overrated in this forum. And if we got Gasol, even though he signed an extension until 2015 recently with Barca.....we might be able to coax Navarro to come play with Gasol, since they are best friends since they were kids. if the Rockets could build around Gasol/Navarro they would instantly be title contenders. if they build around Chris Paul they will just be the Houston Hornets.
Lebron James was traded for two 1st and 2nd round draft picks. It doesn't matter how they got here, what matters is their value now.
I smell death of this deal already. Time to go on to something else. Its good too because if Morey is willing to trade those two for just Pau Gasol then he has no excuse to shy away from a deal involving those two for one of next years top draft picks for the best way to get our star he wants.
