So far the USA roster looks like this (18 players left after Aldridge, Billups, Rose and Howard got injured):

    C: T. Chandler, A. Davis
    F: K. Durant, L. James, C. Anthony, C. Bosh, K. Love, J. Harden, A. Iguodala, B. Griffin, R. Gay, L. Odom
    G: K. Bryant, R. Westbrook, C. Paul, D. Wade, D. Williams, E. Gordon

Yes, Odom is still on the Olympic roster.

It'd be nice to only to see young guys and college studs play.

If you saw Odom in the World Championships 2 years ago, you know why he's being given a shot this summer. They wouldn't have won gold without him. Tyson Chandler was worthless (probably because he wasn't fully recovered from injury).

No way Odom makes the final roster though.

I kind of wish that basketball adopted the soccer rule of only letting in under 23-year olds, with perhaps 2 exceptions for overaged players. This would let us see more turnover for teams; this would be great for both the United States and other countries, as the Olympics have always been about finding "amateur" talent, about how we celebrate the coming-out of athletes hitting their primes.

Additionally, it would put greater importance back on the World Championships; it would be the true "Bragging Rights" tournament, where you put your best 12 guys on the roster, and you have time dedicated entirely to your sport, instead of always having it buried in Olympics coverage.

I like the addition of Davis. We need some bigs on the team now that neither Howard nor Bynum are playing.

I don't know how you got Odom and Durant mixed up.

Between now and the summer, lots of time for Odom to get his **** together.

Obviously KD was the MVP of the team, but they wouldn't have won gold without Odom being able to play C.

Very true, he played exceptionally well at the 5 spot.
