    This is shocking. Shocking!! I knew Palin was a babbling goofus, but I didn't realize that she can't stop thinking about SEX. The horror!! :eek:


    (CNN) - Sarah Palin has managed to set the blogosphere ablaze again, this time after appearing to use sexual metaphors to slam mainstream media reporters who rely on anonymous sources.

    "Those who are impotent and limp and gutless and they go on their anonymous - sources that are anonymous - and impotent, limp and gutless reporters take anonymous sources and cite them as being factual references," Palin said in her criticism of the press. "It just slays me because it's so absolutely clear what the state of yellow journalism is today that they would take these anonymous sources as fact."

    The comments, made Wednesday on Sean Hannity's radio program, appeared to be fueled by an unflattering Vanity Fair profile out the same day that, relying heavily on unnamed sources, claimed the former Alaska governor had a 'mean temper.'


    "When a story is filled with those, we know it's bogus," she also said.

    Palin's latest choice of words made the rounds on countless blogs and Twitter feeds Thursday.

    "I agree [with] Palin on overuse of unnamed sources, but calling reporters 'impotent' and 'limp'? Did she have to go there?" tweeted Howie Kurtz, a Washington Post media critic and CNN contributor.

    She sounds obsessed with sex. I bet she has sex everyday and twice on Sundays! Alone or with her Big Friend, Mister V. There's a rumor, unconfirmed, that the local 7/11 is constantly running out of AA batteries because Palin comes in and buys them all the time!! :eek:

    this coming from the lady who bought about the illusion of death panels and went on about obama not being a citizen and a muslim....so its fine when she is introducing the fear inducing made up facts, but if its about her...man these main stream media...

    Sexual metaphors aside, she talks about these sources as if she thinks they are anonymous to the reporters. Reporters still vet their sources, they just have to agree to protect identities.

    But more power to her. If male politicians relied on her type of drawing power, they'd exploit it too.

    The way I see it, Democrat pundits also need her to stay relevant in order to be the Face of Fear in '12. Who would Obama want as his opposition? A sane Republican who can take care of business, or Palin/Angle/Paul? So the left is willingly putting a spotlight on her. On the other end, teabaggers LOVE her. If Republicans can't easily marginalize her, they'll use her to prop themselves as "listening to the hearts of troubled (and special) Americans". So I think both sides are feeding the Palin/Teabag fire, but both have no idea on how out of control it will be.

    It's a desperate fight with Republicans right now. McCain had to bring her in to increase his primary chances. Murkowski got booted for not being "extreme enough". Apparently being extreme is not compromising and fitting the mold of "the Party of No." Scary stuff to think about heading into November because if Democrats think they can spin Republicans into Do-Nothings, they'll be out maneuvered in what will mobilize voters yet again. You can't blame the economy on Republicans. No one will buy that line. They'll either stay home or vote angry.

    A silver lining on the Teabag Movement: with Murkowski gone and Stephens out, Alaska lost its congressional seniority that has been responsible for all the PORK and KICKBACKS Alaska legally hustled from the Federal Government. One small step for a smaller and less wasteful government!

    Thanks Alaskan voters!
