You should try partnering up for some of the events with UH organizations. Might be able to get more volunteers.
Dear Roc Paint, We need about 15 more servants for this Saturday's Food Fair. Can you make it? 1,095 views and 8 volunteers. Why do some of y'all even bother checking this thread? I don't understand.
Alright. I'll try and coordinate something with yall. DO you have A list of events that you usually do or something along this lines. I would want to present the events to the organization leaders. I do not mind coordinating UH with the clutch community.
My personal favorite thus far has been the Star of Hope foundation. We have done several events at the Women and Family Emergency Shelter on 419 Dowling st. My contact is Amber Wilmeth Phone# 713-440-5333 I would love to join forces with you and yours.
Volunteer Houston Hello Kevin, We just wanted to remind you that you signed up to attend an event called See to Succeed on Jan 30, 2015. We're glad that you will be joining other community members there and we're looking forward to meeting you. Thanks again and see you soon, Your friends at Volunteer Houston I personally can't wait to do this event!
What fun we had today!! And what a beautiful day it was...sun shining and smiles on everyone's faces. Thank you all so much for showing up and helping out. The variety of foods we packaged and distributed to the visitors today were much healthier options than the last time we participated... Today everyone received a 20lb bag of onions, a 10lb bag of potatoes, 5-10lbs of oranges, mango and grapefruit, 2x heads of cabbage, 2x bushels of bananas/plantains, a box of cereal, a box of nilla wafers, and a loaf of bread. What a great turn-out too! Nine (9) Clutch Community volunteers, and 50+ volunteers total - from elementary school ages to our senior citizens. Great job! We truly appreciate everyone's hard work and commitment. And thanks also to the members who brought family members and friends. That is always encouraged and welcomed. I'll post a pic of our turnout (minus one attendee) in the social group for those interested. Warm Regards, RocRouge
Thanks to all for participating in today's charity event. It was another fantastic group of ClutchFan members getting together and doing wonderful work. These events just keep getting bigger and better.
My wife, mother and I loved volunteering today. It was wonderful to see all the smiling faces of the volunteers and the people who received. Roc paint is a wonderful organizer and deserves a lot of credit for his actions. I can't wait to volunteer again.
Thank you Tim for your kind response. I am sorry to tell everyone that tomorrow's event has been cancelled due to some personal reasons. I will try to have February's event up in about a week or so. I will make sure that it is towards the end of the month...so everyone has time to try to join in on all of the fun that Clutch Community provides. Thanks in advance -Roc Paint
