    Lock if posted...

Interesting. The McHale haters will tell us it was Finch's plays or only 'cause Dwight and Harden are so talented...lol.

He's not a top 5 coach, but far from as bad as many believe.

Obvious followup question: what about when we were on defense?

I wanna hear the Rox being close to the 2nd Best Defensive team out of timeouts, out of the gate, & at the end of games in crunch time... It's no mystery that the Rox are potent offensively.

That would be nice. Hopefully with the addition of Ariza and a defensively focused Harden, we improve a great deal.

Still thought this was interesting regardless of how good we are offensively. Many feel it's only due to our running and read and react offense and bash Mchale for his lack of playcalling.

I've seen us look terrible out of timeouts but also run a beautiful set play.

Wouldn't have guessed we were second in league last year.

What a trick..Morey mentions offense, but "accidentally" forgets to mention rox were one of the worst on defense after timeouts..

    Propaganda much?

    Milkhair is what he is.

He should adjust for how good teams are before time outs... Houston offensively was already very good because of JH/DH combo. How much they improved after taking a timeout vs how much other teams improved when taking a timeout matters far more.

Good god our fans are awful. That's a terrific stat even though McHale isn't great, we just dedicated our offseason to defense. Simmer down folks.

McHale usually took timeouts to remind everyone we had Dwight ****ing Howard... Most of the time they just dumped it into Dwight and he would put in work.

Doubtful we could continue such great performance in the coming season since the real coach during time outs was just expelled this off season:

How is that a trick? He said it's just one area to continue being good at. He didn't imply they weren't bad on defense. That would fall under the getting better part of the tweet.

Another obscure stat that doesn't mean a damn thing if the coach isn't managing the teams ego and players personalities well. Analytics has its place, but not when taking to an extreme as in with vague claims. Mchale needs to improve greatly and the Rockets need a better coaching performance out of him and his assistants in the future. I dont know many ppl who disagree with that.

If it was a high ranking, I'd put doubt on the stats or at least question the occasions whe it really matters....

Yes, Morey should only talk abotu negative things and bury the good aspects.
You'd be a great motivator and PR spokesman.

Murrey is just saying we need to continue one of the pro's we had from last year. Which is ironic to me, since milk hair only has one out of bounds play.

You are more of a volume poster than a quality poster I am gathering.

I wonder who the first, third, fourth, etc were, and where the great coaches (Carlisle, Pop, Thibs, etc) rank.

    This reeks of cherrypicking stats.
