NBA all-stars should play against international teams like the MLS does

Iggy is terrible.. I'm not trying to edgy or anything, but seriously.. people actually like her music? And her live performances are embarrassing..

LeBron's complaint (and I assume others) was that the players in the game got no all star break.

This makes a lot of sense, in a lot of other sports they get a lot longer breaks, some up to 2 months! It's time to go all the way:
    1) make pre-season shorter so play less games and have camp start half of september
    2) start season beginning of october (month earlier)
    3) have the whole month of february off except for All-Star weekend right at the beginning so they can have a nice holiday
    4) start the playoffs end of May (month later)
    5) possible 7th game at the near end of July, this leaves possibly 2 teams with 6-8 weeks off for the summer. 16 teams will have 3,5 months off! The other 12 between 2 to 3 months!

The MLS does that because the MLS is weak.
There would be no point doing that for the NBA. Might as well place them against a bunch of Jr. High players because it'd be the same result.

Problem with that is it might conflict with the Euroleague schedule. Also, it would be non competitive. Since the best of the NBA would wipe the floor with even a top euroleague team (since most top euros come here now).

I wonder if that 8 day break will run right into the NBA Trade Deadline on the following Thursday.

People already complain about how long the NBA season/playoffs are. Not saying it's not a good idea, but the idea would be shot down by many parties.

That's a relief. If there's one problem with the NBA, it's that the season is just too dang short.

Long??? Officially, it only lasts from November - May/June, that's only 6 frigging months! For example, football lasts from beginning of August until May. This is not even counting pre-season / friendly games!! NBA is the shortest league probably of any sport. It's ridiculous what the NBA expects from these players, to play so many games in so little time when they could easily, EASILY, extend it by 2-3 months.

Makes a lot of sense. As an NBA junkie, that 8 day wait in between will be fairly frustrating, though.
