If the Rockets are going to add assistants, some will have to go. Dean has been around a long time, I wish him the best... He is a former Rudy T assistant.
paving the way for jvg to come in as a defensive coordinator, then make McHale his subordinate eventually. Or the real ankle biter will come out Pansy move by the organization, need a real coach, not new henchmen
He's not a scapegoat. McHale isn't in charge of the defense or the offense. He's the figurehead and in charge of keeping everyone happy and motivated. IMO, he's done that for the most part.
I would welcome JVG as an assistant coach. Not sure if JVG should be a head coach, because he does micro manage things. Get Elie as an assistant too. He will keep Harden on his toes. McHale can't do anything.
