All-Star Break Extended to Minimum 8 Days Next Season

What ate you talking about? Casual fans already complain the season is too low.

The NFL is from August to Feburary. Basball is from April to October (and people complain about the length of that).

 

Groupies and hoes across the country strongly approve.

 

I really, really wish the season would go down to 62 games. It's just such a pain to make it through the season for people who aren't super hardcore with a lot of time on their hands. And the effort levels are embarrassing. I know $$$ is involved and it won't happen, but it would help the players out longevity wise as well.

 

My suggestion would be to extend the season by a month or so (start 2 weeks early/end 2 weeks later) and eliminate all back to back games. This would be better for the league and the players IMO.

 

What? Including playoffs:

NBA = November-June: 8 months
MLB = April to October: 7 months
NFL = September to February: 6 months (really closer to 5 since you only have part of Sept and the beginning of Feb)

 

Will the season be extended or will there be fewer days off between games to make up for the extended break?

 

Yeah, I give the period a miss. I find it boring.

It could be interesting if they somehow made it competitive. Perhaps a 3 game series which act as Team USA selection trials?

82 games to start a playoff format where more teams get in than don't. That makes no sense to me but whatever.
