This old geezer has been on the mavs jock all night. The mavs are getting every single call while our guys are playing their asses off. Man im sick of ESPN, and their pro-steph curry theme.

Switching to root until tnt on tuesday

I totally agree. I lost it when he praised a 1-8 amare stoudamire by saying "he looked really good" right after he got blocked by Clint.

He pretty much goes on an exaggerated compliment spree whenever a team goes on a run.

You have to respect someone that has been clinically dead for the last five years, yet still manages to pull a paycheck from ESPN.

Ive been watching the root sports stream, but a thread about hubie never fails to come up. I'm going to re watch the game on espn. I'm sure you guys are hearing what you want to hear once again. I really hate to white knight Hubie, but some of you guys are delusional.

Homerism at its finest. Whine more. /thread

Hubie loves all fundamental basketball, great defense and grit. You'll always hear him talking about "the painted area."

Has always been, and continues to be, a very even-handed color guy. Take off your glasses.

    He's been really complimentary, actually.

National commentators are supposed to be impartial. Maybe you should stop listening Worrell/Drexler b****ing about everything that even slightly goes against Rockets.

Why would anybody watch the national broadcast when the local station is available?!

As evidenced by the OP, the idea that every other team gets 'every single call' and every ref, commentator, and anyone else w/ a pulse is anti-Rockets runs rampant here.

He's been fairly even handed in praise and criticism to both teams tonight.

    I don't think he's anti-Rockets, but I don't really like him anymore. I used to but he's lost it.
