So given the Rockets win Round 1, which team would you rather have the Rockets face in Round 2?

    spurs.

i do not like our matchup with the clippers at all. i think we can really use our speed and athleticism against the spurs to give us a chance.

clippers, i believe, are not only deeper but also more athletic.

our only chance against the clippers is if harden/howard play like all-time superstars.

    QUOTED FOR TRUTH - REPPED

If The Rockets win tonight - its easy from here on out because the team will be humiliated on their home turf and their confidence will be destroyed.

If the Mavericks Win tonight - we're going to 6 or 7 games, because it will be a huge confidence boost for them & knowing Dirk, they will play with a renewed heart for the rest of the series and it will be much closer.

That being said, I would've wanted the Spurs until the last two games we played against them - now its a toss-up. The Spurs definitely know what to do in the playoffs.

With the way these threads are popping up, we're probably two or three more Rockets wins away from someone starting a thread about the time, date and route of the Houston Rockets NBA Championship Parade.

Better question, where should you purchase the 2015 Rockets NBA championship shirts? Rockets shop or Academy?

I would prefer playing the Spurs just because if we lose the series, I feel as if it would be more respectable to lose to the defending champions then to lose to some whining wanna be's.

The only problem is I fear Pop will have a field day with the hack-a-every not named McHale. There's no way Pop loses a series without making sure he's exhausted all avenues first. Therefore our games will definately last until the wee hours of the morning. I bet he's even try intentionally fouling out his entire bench to test the rule that the last five players can't foul out.

Have the idiots that think a series win is inevitable ever seen a 7 game basketball series?

    Yes, we're doing well.

Things change. Harden could get injured. Beverly could make a wolverine return. Dirk could go for 50. Harris' return could shift the series. Anything can happen.
