    Elaborate!
Deng more polished on offense than Parsons... but not better by much
Josh Smith is a defensive beast.... but Faried is the better rebounder
Jordan is more of a one way player.... Hawes can do it offensively.....

    not close.....

first of all... george karl vs kevin mchale... come on

deng is a very capable scorer, i don't need him to do much besides hit open jump shots which he can do very well. faried is going to have a hard time scoring over deandre and smith. smith is going to be my primary scorer, which is his weakest position (not good for him). i know deandre can't do much offensively, but he'll be my garbage man with solid defense, offensive rebounds and put backs.

monta and miller are both great at creating for their teammates and can set up deandre AND smith in pick and rolls while deng and the others sit at an option at the 3 point line. i know parsons is a good defender, but i won't be needing deng to be a primary playmaker.

my team is also a turnover creating MACHINE. two of the best shot blockers in josh smith and deandre jordan protecting my paint. even channing frye gets 1 block a game. my team as a whole average a lot of steals as well. especially monta and smith

deandre is a better rebounder than hawes. smith is a better rebounder than faried. deng is a better rebounder than parsons. you'll be shooting a lot of jumpers, which is beneficial to me since there will be many rebounds.

as for my bench, gary neal is a very competent guard who takes care of the ball and shoots a high %. shannon brown is a highly athletic 2 way player who can thrive in fast break situations. channing frye will be able to stretch the floor providing an outside threat opening up the paint for smith or deandre

my defensive prowess will turn his team into a jump shooting team and will then dominate him on the boards and fast break, while josh smith dismantles him in the post.

The match up was very close for me so I used the coaches to break the tie. I voted for fallenphoenix.

    I don't like Rocketsred14's frontcourt at all.

FallenPhoenix should have gotten a more up tempo PG but Andre does well in Denver pushing the tempo

They may be young, but they're still very good at what they do.

Parsons is an excellent 2-4 defender and can knock down some shots.
Faried is a manimal on the boards and can block shots. He missed catching the ball late in last night's game but he still had 14 and 10. He also had that nice block on kobe in transition. I can't say much about hawes since he isn't playing much and only getting around 4 shots, but the guy can score in the post or mid range. Perkins is a defender and rebounder, which is all I need from him.

I don't like the lack of spacing at all.

    Your backcourt is amazing though

i'd just play a zone which could turn cp3 and ginobli into jump shooters since he can't touch my paint...

    y'all are crazy.

You have to put the more attractive team on paper, we won't see that match up in real action anytime soon so there you go....

    70:30 to CP3 and Gino

You have your chance as the underdog

Yeah, right. There's a difference between "blocking shots" and "paint defense". DeAndre and Smith can do the former but not the latter, and it's that difference between those two things which is why Camby started for the Rockets while Dalembert sat.

people just see big names and salivate...

i thought a morey fan base would be able to actually put some thought into it.

Maybe the Morey fan base understands that having Jordan, Smith, and Ellis in the starting lineup for George Karl would be... dynamic.

Morey would be salivating if he could get his hands on either Ginobili or Chris, in this match up I guess Chris Paul in his second, third season before injury.

Josh Smith and Big Al would be borderline allstars, not his first choice.
    Superstar before Allstars before Borderliners
