Several years in the making. An hour of archive footage and audio explaining Wilt Chamberlain. A 17 minute intro to his size, athleticism, and mentality followed by a breakdown of how he scored using every known field goal made that has been discovered/archived to date (about 2.4% of his career field goals made)

    * Physical Tools and Mentality intro (starts at 0:20)
    * Left block scoring (starts at 17:08)
    * Right block scoring (starts at 25:00)
    * Lobs - Deep catches - Transition scoring (starts at 33:31)
    * Two Person Game scoring (starts at 43:40)
    * Offensive Rebound scoring (starts at 49:36)

This is the non-statistical way of evaluating Wilt Chamberlain. You can fiddle with stats all day imagining how they'd adjust one way or another if he played under a different coach with different teammates in different era's but at the end of the day I think it's best to watch how he played.

An hour of Wilt footage that doesn't include him beating guts? Hmm I question the authenticity of the video.

Wow some incredible footage. No doubt he would be a dominant player in the modern era. What is even more impressive is that his greatness did not just depend on his size or athletic ability, he was a cerebral player and a great passer. He led the league in assists one year  There was a play in that video where he was leading a break and assisted on a behind the back pass for a layup. Just unreal.

It's crazy that he averaged nearly 46 mpg for his career. Just nuts.

Too bad he shot blanks with all those women he banged.

Great, great video. As a kid, I can recall the adults watching Wilt on TV comment negatively on how he would sometimes walk up the court.

What I was too young to realize was that he was playing 48 minutes a game...every game.

The greatest athlete to ever play the game...and that's from a big Hakeem fan.

wilt was the man. after watching... the main difference i see is that in the old days, players went around the defense - not through it ala shaq.

wilt would've dominated in any era - definitely a specimen.

I was too young to watch wilt play and didn't realize how big he was later in his career. He was Shaq's size and probably stronger.
