Well, if we win the NBA title, we will drop from 27 to 30 in one hot hurry -- but I, for one, could live with that, especially since that pick belongs to the Lakers. Otherwise -- no news on 18. I hope we take a PG (Jerian Grant?) with our first pick and with our next pick a center prospect (Moussa Diagne or Dakari Johnson?) for Viper development.
We've got one! Rashad Vaughn of UNLV via reputable Minny reporter Darren Wolfson

Vaughn workouts scheduled: Pacers, Spurs, Mavs, Suns, Bulls, Bucks, Celtics, Rockets, Lakers, and more. #Twolves a maybe. Projected as a late 1st rounder, but we may be looking at him for our 2nd rd pick http://www.draftexpress.com/article/Rashad-Vaughn-NBA-Draft-Scouting-Report-and-Video-Breakdown-5004
The order goes by Win-Loss record in the regular season, not like the NFL where it takes the playoffs into consideration. http://www.nba.com/news/2015-nba-draft-order/ Golden State still picks 30th no matter what.
I'm just excited at finally getting some news regarding the draft and an idea about the direction Morey may be trying to go.
Not much of a prospect, but workouts are underway...

First NBA workout in the books! Thank you Houston Rockets! All glory to God. Thanx. Lol the wolves reallyy want him dont they? I wonder if Dieng and their early seconds are on the table.

Wow didn't even consider that. I like him as an option If we trade jones. But wouldn't they be more inclined to move Pek? Who I doubt has any value. Maybe Anthony Bust?
Pekovic is the second worst contract in the league right now behind Deron Williams. He is overpaid always injured and even when he plays he has zero defence. If he doesnt get convinced to retire the Wolves would have to give up a first themselves to get rid of his contract. But luckily for them they have many rookie contracts and capspace wont be an immediate problem so they can wait more. Bennett is also bad contract because next year he is paid 5 per. Which is way too much.
I was just about to come in here and post that I know Trevor Lacey and Levi Randolph, both who are from the same city as me and we all graduated the same time, worked out with Houston the weekend of game 3 and 4. Our city is small so we all grew up knowing each other. Trevor will be a steal I hope we can get him on our summer squad. 6'3 point guard pretty good handles can shoot from anywhere on the court. I think he would be perfect next to Harden. Levi is a 2/3 and he's about 6'6 pretty strong. Plays solid D and can shoot here and there. In high school his midrange game was flawless. Got to bama and it all seemed to go downhill until his last 2 years where he picked it back up.
