Scary to think that the Rockets helped facilitate the destruction of a franchise that was just starting to make a name for her self.

Will they be able to net Hibbert from Indiana as a consolation prize?

    Will CP3 stay?

    What about Blake?

All that Doc Rivers charm and Balmer yelling along with a max contract offer couldnt keep DJ on that team. This could be the first step that devastates the franchise...And is totally awesome to see the city of LA completely crap out..

PS. I bet you the evaluations for the franchise aren't going to be any where close to 2 Billion next year!!!

Get Roy Hibbert in a 3-way trade from Indy. Hibbert to Clippers, DJ to Mavs, Monta to Pacers.

    Perfect fit!

Clippers won't do anything until Chris Paul takes a back seat to Griffin. Until then, they will be the same garbage team

I completely agree with you but Blake has to be more assertive late in games. He shrinks from the moment too often.

Would you work around trading Dwight Howard and pieces to the Clippers for Paul?

They have no tradable assets teams want other than CP3 and Blake, Lance is going to destroy this team from the inside, with this and the lakers failures so far the city of Los Angeles is about to go into a phase of terrible basketball and I can't say I'm sad at all about it

The Clippers will get Hibbert as a stopgap for one year and then pray they can lure a replacement for Jordan next summer. Otherwise kiss Griffin goodbye in a few years.

Honestly can't believe he's still on the market. He's a bonehead at times but he would be great next to an offensive 4 like Blake.

    OLD Peirce - Hibbert - CP3 - Blake
is only deadly in the last minutes of close games IMO

Go ahead & flame me...but I think Javale McGee could be a good option for the Clips. His BBIQ is just south of r****ded, but he does have the freakish athleticism & length, as well as the ability to protect the rim & rebound...which is what they will be missing from DJs departure. I have always loved his potential but have been even more so disappointed by his inability to acheive it.

All I can say is if he (as reported) turned down 5 yrs, $109 million for 4 yrs, $80 million, DJ must have really wanted to get out of Clipperland.

That's an incredible amount of money to leave on the table. Unreal.

They should also trade crawford. He expires and he is non guaranteed. In fact the rockets should trade for him.
