    Harden never said he wants a Beverly replacement, he said we needed more guard help. Beverly is a starter, he is what Tony Allen is to Memphis but a better 3 point shooter.

    More guard help means Beverly gets less minutes, reducing injury risk and another guard option to create so Harden can spend some time off of the ball.

    Never has it been reported that Harden was upset at Beverly being the starter, since he was...injured for the playings.

    That's a pretty good deal, especially with the 4th year non guaranteed. Now we just need a backup guard to give Harden a breather.

    I wanted Bev back simply because he's been one of my favorite Rockets the past few years. To get him back on such a steal of a contract is awesome. I'm glad he has his security and his money after all he's been through, and I'm glad he's still a Rocket.

    Houston should look into getting Mo Williams, would fit nicely with the squad on and off the court.

    Charlotte would prefer a SnT, could go for cheap, Brian Roberts could also be decent as well, he has been pretty poor in Charlotte but I dont think he is a good fit for them.

    Also im very Haooy for Bev that he got paid, and im ecstatic he is still a Rocket, if we get a great PG upgrade Bev would still be great a backup for the squad.

    He is not a cash w****, that's what I like about him most. Great that we have Patrick&Corey back, now sign Josh & trade for back-up PG (rather sign CJ Watson, but seems like Orlando would steal him out of FA).

    Wasn't able to pay much attention to free agency rumblings as I got completely handled at work today. Finally was able to pick up my cell phone and see the notifications regarding our signings.

    Very happy Bev signed with us for what is seemingly a very team friendly deal. We really need another point guard, but Bev is one of my favorite players on the team. The only thing that stopped me from getting a Bev jersey last christmas was I had little faith we'd be able to retain him.

    Now stay healthy for once. Please.

    DURANT, you are on notice!!! We are coming for you next year! You WILL be a Rocket soon. 2016 is going to be OUR year!

    Let's hope that Aldridge stays put in Portland or if he does sign elsewhere goes to San Antonio (if not to us) and Suns need some big man help after clearing off their roster. We send them Jones, Dorsey, Papa, etc. for Bledsoe. Offseason done.
