I love lists. It's stupid and leads to many insane arguments but it's fun. That being said, as of right now, who would be in your Top 10 in the LeBron Era. That's about 12 years worth of players to choose from. Requirement: Any player drafted the same year or after LeBron was drafted (durh) Here are my players but I have a hard time putting them in order LeBron James Kevin Durant Dwyane Wade Steph Curry Chris Paul Dwight Howard Chris Bosh Russell Westbrook James Harden Paul George Anthony Davis Kevin Love If Curry and GSW wins it all again this year, you have to put him right behind LeBron wouldn't you?
a lot of these players still have a lot of time left but if I were to start a team with these players as a rookie who I'd pick and in what order? I would have a preference for elite wing players before big men because they're easier to build around. Lebron Durant Curry Westbrook Kawhi Harden Davis Wade Paul George Blake Griffin Honorable mentions : CP3, Howard, Cousins, Drummond
Alphabetical Stephen Curry Kevin Durant Blake Griffin LeBron James Kawhi Leonard Chris Paul Dwyane Wade Russell Westbrook
Carmelo needs to be on there. Also I would posite that Lebron's generation should have a cutoff at some point, say 2010? The generation after lebron includes guys like kyrie, kahwaii, lillard, ant davis etc
No particular order: LeBron James Kevin Durant James Harden Chris Paul Steph Curry Russel Wesbrook Dwyane Wade Anthony Davis Dwight Howard Blake Griffin
Lin Parsons Hey Bud Let's Party Lowry Goran the GOAT Joey Dorsey KPAP Canaan Ball Asik Pablo the Pringle
The two people putting Kawhi Leonard on their lists seem to be really jumping the gun to me. Especially since they're both excluding Dwight Howard, a guy who won DPOY three times, led a team without any other star player to the Finals, and was IMO the most deserving MVP candidate back in 2011 (when D Rose won it).
I agree, it's a hard call. I prefaced my post with who I'd start a team with if they were all rookies and said I preferred wing players over centers, especially in the today's NBA. If current body of work is taken into consideration, A Davis shouldn't be on the list imo.
I wouldn't take Leonard over Paul George I don't think he's better at all just plays on the Spurs and I def wouldn't take him over James Harden. Jh is getting underrated around here him and lebron are the only 2 players to be top 5 in wins shares the last 3 going on 4 seasons. But how is kobe not on your list he only won an mvp and went to 3 finals winning 2 in the past 7 years. He has just as many rings as lebron in that span. Best players last 5 years Lebron kD JH/Curry Westbrook Duncan Melo Cp3 Griffin Wade There's some guys creeping in that class but all 10 of those guys have been the best 9 players in the league bar none the last 5 years. I tied curry and JH because harden has been better over 5 years but curry has been special and mvp champion last year and a quarter. Gotta show love.
LeBron James Stephen Curry Kevin Durant Dwyane Wade Dwight Howard Chris Bosh Russell Westbrook James Harden Chris Paul Blake Griffin
This is perfect. And for those of you leaving Howard out of the list LMAO ... outside of Curry,Bron,Wade, Durant, What has anyone else accomplish more than Howard , 3 time DPOY , Best center of his generation , 20-20 all time leader , best rebounder, Led a magic team to the Finals at age 23 ...
