Nah he will play college, he only grew up in aus before moving to America to play in a better level of competition (HS basketball)

I give it a .01% chance he doesn't play college and a 60% chance he picks to play for aus internationally

thon is gonna play for Australia!!!

only thing holding him back from being with the boomers atm is his grades at school right now suck.

my dream team is coming true

    Mills/ delledova
    Exum
Ben Simmonds (ranked 4th in his draft class on draft express)
    Thon Maker
    Bogut

Solid team considering how poor our league has been and how poor the NBL coverage has been up until a few years ago

VOA: Is he going the Exum route, or simply playing for the Australian National Team this summer/moving forward? They will be exciting to watch!

Nah he isn't allowed to play for the boomers (aus national team) because he grades (currently studying in USA) in school are to poor to qualify to play for aus

He will more than likely go through the college route playing div 1 college ball and dropping out after 1 year to go play in the nba

If his grades suck so badly he should go the d-league route for nba eligibility.

Thon Maker helped lead his team to winning the recent 2014 Adidas Nations tournament.

He's not like most of these one of a kind freak athletes at a young age in that he's actually extremely skilled. This dude is going to be very good.

Nicknamed "Employee Number 132"? Seriously, what's with that number? Also, I'd like to see if he has any power. Otherwise he's a KD type. Not a bad thing, just a thing.

If Thon can stay not injured he has a chance to become something very special and entertaining to watch...
