https://youtu.be/aNc0TWUlxHY He says, "you can earn more money in a not so great city, and be miserable or take less money and be happy in good city". NBA talk starts at about the 4th minute. Talks about dwight and hawks Interesting things being said.
Only thing Atlanta has just as good as Houston is strip clubs, and I would still say Houston > Atlanta. Atlanta is dirty. I went there last year and I could not wait to get home.
Gordon is better. Bazemore was part of the Horford play: Bazemore + Horford > Gordon Bazemore < Gordon
I want to know who actually thinks the Hawks got better trading out Horford for Dwight? It's a lateral move at best, and only because they have Milsap next to him (who's a UFA next year).
Wait is he referring to Atlanta? Atlanta and Houston are pretty much the same type of city.. I have no clue what this clown is talking about. I thought he was referring to a place like Boston or San Francisco, cities that are actually 'nicer'. Houston and Atlanta are lateral moves in most senses. Pretty perplexing.
If he's talking about Los Angeles as a worse city than Atlanta, he is literally on crack. It's very difficult to make arguments against living in LA when you're a multi millionaire
Time to prove him he made a bad choice. But to be honest i don't think we need to do much, the Hawks are probably going to lose Millsap after Horford and start next season with only Baze, a declining Dwight and Schroder...have fun Kent. Spoiler Salt mode off
I saw it as this way too. L.A. suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks. Atlanta is a really cool city. Plus L.A. is going to be terrible next year.
Yeah - he said "make a ton of money, in a not so good city, on a bad team, and be miserable." The bad team part made me think he was talking about somewhere else (or in generalities). While it's certainly debatable the extent to which the rockets are a contender vs a pretender, I don't think its clear that deciding to play for the post-horford hawks is choosing a clearly better team.
"not so great city". Didn't mention the team, mentioned the city. Don't think he's talking about LA lol.
LA is better than Houston and Atlanta combined. Let's not kid ourselves. WWW... But seriously. Vibes better on the west coast.
