Remember, no PBP in these threads and keep the chatter on topic (if it is about something other than this series, talk about it in another thread).

5-30 Brandon Backe, RHP (4-5, 4.19) vs. Manny Parra, LHP (2-2, 5.11) 7:05 on FSN

5-31 Brian Moehler, RHP (2-1, 4.40) vs. Ben Sheets, RHP (5-1, 2.93) 6:05 on FSN

    6-01 Shawn Chacon, RHP (2-0, 3.95) vs. Dave Bush, RHP (1-5, 6.04) 1:05 on My20

I'd be ecstatic if we never had to play the Cardinals again this season; they've just have our number this season. That said, hopefully the team can rebound and take this series agains the Brewers. If the bats get back on track they can take at least two.

I gotta say that first pitch was a little too outside to be a strike.

They have to start dominating again. My mind can't take the disappointment of losing any game.

This is ridiculous. Why do we have to play from at least 2 runs behind every damn night. It's getting tedious

Hunter really has adjusted well since his early slumping.

A pair of really hard hit balls this inning, even though Carlos' was an out.

Wiggy just swung at ball 4 twice. And then he took what looked like strike 3 to me, but I'll take the walk.

That was a big hit for Towles after being down 0-2 in the count.

No wonder Weeks is NL leader in HBP, he leaned right into that.

Thought you had to try and get out of the way? Suppose it would have been a walk anyway, but still..

WTH is Bourn playing at there. He has an absolutely terrible eye for pitches

Just like the Astros. Bring our hopes up and then go into a slump. Doesn't this look all to familiar to anybody else but me?
