All those guys have significantly more complex, multi-dimensional games

I think most people would easily take all of them over Beal

Beal is a sleeper. He is a legit 6'5 can shoot the three well and is only 21.

If put in the right situation he has the ability to drive and create for others.
But he plays with wall who does the driving and kicking.

The only reason his coring is down from last year is because he is just coming off of injury and was being brought off the bench.

Gun to my head I take Beal of Thompson. Klay is better now but I think he has hit his ceiling. To be fair that ceiling is a very good player.

Beal is only 21 and still has a lot of room to grow.

Even if the wizards decide that he is not in there future plans the could sign him to the max and flip him for a nice chunk of assets easily.

Klay Thompson is 24... I doubt he has hit his ceiling as a player.

Every good young wing will get the max. That's just how the NBA is now.

That's a good point - we are at an all time high of paying players for what they can become rather than what they are - meaning younger players are getting overpaid. A handful of those signings work out in the favor of the team but I would say the value isn't there in most cases. If Ariza had been 25 he would have got the max, but being a known commodity makes him worth half as much even if he gives similar production of a guy like Parsons.
