It's a rematch with Canton Charge from Thursday. Manny Harris obliterated the Vipers for 46 pts, 9 rebs, 6 asts, and 4 stls.

Morris put up 18 pts, 6 rebs, and 4 tos in the last game. He continues to struggle with perimeter D.

Greg Smith put up 15 pts on 7-8 FG. He collected 4 defensive rebounds and a blocked shot in 25 minutes. He will need to improve his offensive rebounding, this game.

Game starts at 7:00 PM Central.

Vipers lost it as a team

They are going to win it as a team. Morris just needs to take it step by step, don't need to rush it

Just tuned in, Morris with a very impressive cross-court pass after being doubled.

Yeah he does look slimmer now. He looks good so far in this game. When he looks motivated you can see his NBA potential, but even when motivated he still just looks lost on defense. It's as if he has no natural feel for defense. That said he needs to be in the NBA and playing regular minutes off the bench. The D-League is just complete garbage. I want to see him play with a legit PG rather than Conroy. Conroy is a space cadet and he plays completely out of control.

Also, as I have said in other Marcus Morris game threads, he is just way too content to settle for jumpers. He doesn't have a quick first step and he can't drive to the basket consistently. Him and his brother both have a love for chucking up long jumpers.

So he likes to chuck 2-point jump shots, doesn't get to the basket enough, and he's lost on defense. And this is all in the D-league.

Doesn't sound like he'll help us win this year.

Well all that was being critical of his flaws. All that stuff said he looks like he has potential and he needs to be in the NBA. The thing that kills me watching him is the T-Mac laid back body language he can have at times. It's like he just took a few hits off the bong and decided to go play some ball.

Also, he is actually playing some decent defense at the end of this game and he has actually looked to get to the basket.

Watch the game. He is actually trying in crunch time. Playing D.

It is frustrating but I kind of sense that he won't do it that much in the NBA.
Just level of competition is higher. He will rise to the occasion.
Body language is what holds him back.... you take a look at Cousins.... he has nowhere the length and talent of Tmac

He's got like 30 and 15 but not very efficient. I'm not even sure he's trying too hard, not sure if that is a good thing or bad thing.
